Please keep in mind that we CAN'T get coating where there is no space between the metal, therefore these areas are subject to rust if the metal can rust. Also with used rusty parts there are places that the blasting media cannot reach to remove all the rust and the coating does not adhere to rust. Header designs with open and/or removable tubes and welded flanges can last a LIFETIME! All THERMAL TECH products are conditionally guaranteed for 3 years unless stated otherwise on your original invoice. During this period, components may be returned for unsatisfactory workmanship or coating defects. Parts must be returned within 90 days of the appearance of defect. The guarantee will not apply if there is obvious abuse of the coating, modification or welding of the components. Damage due to extreme exhaust temperatures exceeding 1200 Deg. F will not be covered for thermal barrier coatings unless the part is coated with Turbo-X 2000 which is guaranteed to 2000 Deg. F. We cannot guarantee the amount of performance increase of the products as the use application and handling of the products is beyond our control. We do not guarantee "shine" due to the fact that we have no control over how often the part is cleaned and polished or the use of proper cleaners. Also on high output motors that use thin gauge pipe (ie: 18 - 20 ga.) the expansion and contraction of the metals will cause dulling in areas where turns have stretched the pipe as it exits the exhaust ports. |
