Thermal Tech can apply many different types of coatings depending on your needs. More types of coatings are under development and testing, such as improved Teflon's and new  high temp ceramic colors.

Thermal Barriers      

Used to block out or keep heat contained in or through an area. I.e. headers, exhaust components, and are also used on any metals where an attractive highly durable finish is desired.  Some colors available at additional cost.

Thermal Reflective

Used in areas of combustion chambers for moving heat, reducing detonation and improving flame travel. I.e. piston tops, valve faces cylinder head combustion chamber surfaces.

 

Oil Shedding / Dispersants

Used to increase the ability of a part to radiate heat. I.e. radiators, braking components, oil pans, transmission coolers, bottom side of pistons to shed the oil and lower oil temps, connecting rods and crank throws.

 

Dry Film Lubricants

Used to lower the frictional rate of any part subject to sliding or rotating friction. I.e. piston skirts, gears, valve springs, cam, lifters, crankshafts, wrist pins, bearings.

 

Powders

Used for metal parts that are not subjected to high heat and where a durable color finish is desired. Over 200 colors and specialty finishes available.
