Christian and Big Daddy Don meet at Virginia Motorsports Park.

Formed in May of 2001 Thompson Motorsports is a family affair based out of

Prince George Virginia.

Team Members include:

Driver: Christian Thompson a 12 year old 6th grade Honor Roll Student at

JEJ Moore Middle School, who also enjoys basketball, golf, and working in

the garage with his Dad and Pop-Pop. Christian finished 10th in points at

Virginia Motorsports Park during the 2002 season, his 1st in competition.

During the 2002 season he won one race and was a quarter finalist on 4

other occasions. His favorite Thermal Tech product is the "Booty Blue"

powder coated aluminum parts on his racecar.

Team Manager: Dan Thompson, service manager for Ingersoll-Rand who enjoys

golf and anything else with his kids.

Crew Chief: Tom "Pop-Pop" Thompson, a true racing and automotive enthusiast

who is actively enjoying his retirement building street rods.

The Rest of the Gang: Mom, Grammie, and Jordan who do everything else.

The Car: 2002 Mike Bos Chassis Craft, with a McGee Racing Cams motor and

Polar Jr. clutch.
